I was given this book in turn for an honest review.
Estelle after her father’s death followed his wishes and continued their ritual each full moon. Little was she aware of the secrets that lied beneath the sea. All to soon her heart is torn between the man she loves and the place she calls home and if things weren’t already complicated, their lives are also at risk, are they strong enough to survive?
Sachael Dreams opens up your mind to a whole new world and a believable one. Melody Winter writes in a detailed, flowing and intriguing way that has you captivated into the story living it yourself, wondering if such a world exists around us and wanting to know more about it, almost feeling an urge to visit this mysterious and secret place yourself, it really is that realistically written.
Estelle is an intriguing woman, she prefers her own company to that of others. She was very much a family girl and loved her parents dearly; she was also intelligent with an artistic nature.
Azariah was mysterious, captivating and honest, it’s hard not to be taken hostage by his romantic charm; his actions were real and he genuinely meant every word he spoke.
The love and connection that Estelle and Azariah shared was undeniable, their souls matched and their love was unbreakable. They suited each other in much more than their love for the sea and their love for freedom.
Sachael Dreams took a little time to truly get into the action side of the story, however I can see why Melody wrote the detailed chapters at the beginning; each little detail was so important to the story and you needed them all in order to fully understand, appreciate and enjoy the story. Every little revelation, fact or discussion gave impact and suspense to the story, building up to why Estelle and Azariah were in so much danger and more.
I don’t often read mythological romances, although I am very open minded to trying any genre and without a doubt Melody Winters did not disappoint.
I can’t wait to read the next book in the series. Their story didn’t finish on a cliff hanger in my opinion; however their story is far from over.
If you enjoy mythological romances this book is definitely for you. I would also recommend this book to anyone searching for a romance with something unique about it and a story that takes you into a whole new world.
