Rescuing Rayne by Susan Stoker
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
5 Stars!!!
I was given this book in turn for an honest review.
When Keane “Ghost” Bryson and Rayne Jackson’s flight is cancelled they decide to explore London together: memories are made that neither will ever forget. Can they truly walk away from each other? Will fate bring them together again? Or does fate have other plans?
Rescuing Rayne is the first in the Delta Force series from Susan Stoker and I can already see this series is going to be epic, maybe even better than the SEAL of Protection series which pains me to say because I absolutely love that series!
With true style their story starts romantically, sweet and with passion fuelled words; however Ghost and Rayne’s story has more than one unexpected twist. Susan takes us on a suspense filled ride with our heart fighting for them and our minds fighting to discover if they get their happy ending.
I absolutely loved Ghost, he had a sense of humour, he was loyal, strong and a great leader to his team. There isn’t one moment in this book that you won’t either be laughing with him, sighing or wanting to hug him, even when he’s stubborn!
Rayne was hilarious, she had witty comebacks and there was never a dull moment around her. She was strong, confident and outgoing. I would love her as my best friend.
I think I may have already fallen for at least two other team members of the Delta Force Team and I haven’t even read their stories yet. These men are certainly giving other fictional men a run for their money!
If you are a lover of military suspense fuelled romance, with added humour and a great bunch of characters you will absolutely love Rescuing Rayne.
