I was given this book in turn for an honest review.
Kimberly’s first ever flight, turned out to be far from perfect; the one thing she will always have are the lasting memories of Beck, the man who calmed her completely. When she takes a temporary job at an accounting firm, she discovers more than she bargained for. Is her boss really who he says he is?
Liz Bower has written an excellent, and captivating, contemporary romance; one that has you enthralled from the very beginning, and has your mind working overtime trying to work out all the hidden mysteries. I loved every minute of this book and struggled to put it down. I read this book in only a couple of sittings. Sometimes books are worth staying up late for, and this is one of them.
Kimberly tugs at your heart strings, she’s had a few rough months and finds herself trying hard to build her lifelong dream; a dream she truly deserves. Given the fact she could easily wallow away her worries, she actually has a great outlook on life, and has a witty sense of humour. I really loved Kimberly’s character and wanted to see her happy and successful in her career.
Beck’s took a hold of my heart the instant Kimberly met him. He’s kind, caring, reassuring, and above all a really sweet and thoughtful man. I honestly don’t feel I have a bad word I can say against him. His character is really intriguing. You desperately want to unravel who the man truly is.
This story will surprise you, in all the best ways. It’s hard to fully give this story the praise it deserves without giving away the plotline. This story is one you can devour, time, and time again, and enjoy it more, and more each time.
If you love contemporary romances, with added suspense, humour, a storyline that keeps you guessing and characters you will love, Disaster in Love by Liz Bower is for you.
