I received this book in turn for an honest review.
When Beatle, rescued Casey from the Jungle, neither expected the threat would follow them home. Can Beatle save Casey a second time?
Susan Stoker has this way of writing little quirky twists to a story, that give her stories that extra intriguing factor, that many stories, don’t have. Each story has its uniqueness, and there is never a dull moment in a Susan Stoker book. Rescuing Casey captivated me from the start, a part of me didn’t want to devour this story too quickly, however another part of me didn’t want to put this book down, and that part won out.
I liked Casey’s character, she was strong, determined, caring, and clever. Her strength was inspiring. Even given her ordeal, she was more concerned about others. I loved that although she didn’t like being treated as a damsel in destress/victim, she was open to help and thankful in return.
Beatle completely stole my heart, he was calm, and collective. He wasn’t afraid to say how he felt or show his true intentions, and in turn he didn’t push people; he was supportive and let them make their own decisions.
I absolutely love this Delta Force Team, and I think Beatle might have stolen top spot for me. However, we still have Trucker’s story to come and he, with each book has slowly been chipping away, finding a place in my heart, and I think in his story, he’ll have me completely. Sorry Beatle!
If you love military romances, The Delta Force series, is for you. Each book can be read as a standalone. Personally, to fully enjoy the reading experience, I recommend reading them in order.
